Education Day Celebration
Bunts Sangha Pune proudly celebrated “Smt. Shakuntala Jagannath B. Shetty Educational & Social Welfare Yojana” The Main Chief Guest for the event was Shri.Jitendra Hegde Managing Director – Biorad Medisys Pvt.Ltd., Smt.Rakhi Shetty, Director- KSH International Pvt.Ltd and Smt.Vijayalakshmi P Rai, President- Kannada Sahithya Parishath. All Meritorious children were honored by our honourable Chief Guests. This recognition celebrates academic excellence and acknowledges the hard work and dedication of our young achievers. A total of 14 students from various Educational levels were recognized for their hard work and excellence. Shri.Jitendra Hegde and Smt.Rakhi Shetty emphasized the Importance of Education in today’s world. Additionally, they provided full support to help all students facing financial difficulties in our community and assisted them in securing jobs. This gesture touched the hearts of people sitting in the audience
Aatida Onji Koota – Traditional Food Festival
Pune Bunts Sangha celebrated the vibrant Aatda Onji Koota, a traditional Tulunadu food festival. The event began with the captivating traditional Tulu musical drama performed by members from all zones, bringing Tulunadu’s culture vividly to life. Then auspicious opening of the Kumbhu by distinguished guests, followed by a delightful tour of food stalls featuring authentic dishes from the South, North, East, and West zones prepared by Sangha members.
A standout feature was the beautiful exhibition by the East Zone at Buntara Bhavan, showcasing the rich heritage of Tulunadu. The festival culminated with a captivating traditional Tulu musical drama performed by members from all zones, bringing Tulunadu’s culture vividly to life.
The event was a joyous blend of delicious food, rich tradition, and spirited performance, leaving everyone with fond memories. Pune Bunts Sangha thanks all participants for making Aatda Onji Koota a grand success.
